The Lemsterweek is the party week. It is always the last week of the north construction holiday. In this week 2 competitions of the SKS skûtsjesilen are also held. Furthermore, the whole of Lemmer is in party mode, various performances in the dock and a large fair. At the end of the week there is a huge fireworks display on the dike near the beach.
